i used to use an addon called GatherSync (reloaded). it was updated a few times, the last being in 2007. The original author of the addon was Dweezy @ Talnivarr EU.
When WotlK came out i still wanted to use the mod because i liked the idea of it, so i used the code from the mod and went through and updated it for WotlK and added a few features. At the moment i am only using this for personal use, and i was considering distributing my update to it, but i don't know how i should do that so that no one gets made at me. the addon did not come with a specific license like Gatherer does. The addon was originally hosted on Curse, but has since been removed for reasons unknown.

if someone could please give me a suggestion on what to do, it would be most appreciated, and if i did something i was not supposed to / allowed to i apologize for it

Thank you
Anyways that being said anyone know of something that does this?

Is there an addon that lets you take almost ANY frame that you have, and anchor it to whatever you want?

Something like the KGpanels anchoring system, except it lets you anchor any frame instead of just the KGpanels frames.

I use to use shock and awe on my shaman before i went mage cow, and built into his mod was a priority frame that would just show you a picture of the next spell you should cast (based on what wasn't on cooldown) from a predefined priority list. I loved it, it was great, i didn't have to look at my action bar to see what was on cool down and it really helped out in pvp and keeping track of my dps cycle in pve.

Would someone be able to make a mod that did this, class independent? Something where you would just open your spell book and drag and drop the spells that should be prioritize on some sort of linear/bar array?

Thanks!

So as the title suggests, after browsing the forums here for some time, I have decided to try and create my own UI so I know exactly what i have and how to use it The trouble is the only UI "stuff" I have done before is downlaoding mods :P

So, as i mentioned I have browsed the site for a while and decided the initial package will be containing Bartender4, Ag_unitframes ( Iread there a little easier than Pitbull?) omen, recount, Phanxchat, chinchilla, tomtom and ratings buster. Hopefully if these go well I will add more at a later date. One question: Are healbot and AG compatible?

So for my questions, will these addons slow my fps down alot in general? Also is there a mod that groups all my addons in one convenient place? How do i save them all in there relevant positions for my other chars etc? And finally is there an easy way to do this? ie where the hell do i start lol and can you recomend anymore addons to make this whole process a little easier?

edit: just noticed lunar spheres, has anyone considered using this instead of BT4?
Thanks in advance

2. Auto Type delete when trying to delete blue or better item.

3. Auto Reset instances when you exit them.

4. ability to toggle the other features on/off so you may use only the ones you need.

so if someone would make an addon like this, it would be weary mutch apriciated, and if possible, use ace2 lib.
Yet I still had to add the addons folder. I downloaded proximo and questhelper extracted it to the file and I thought it would work. Another thing I have files of wow in other folders. the public documents. It would automatically bring it over to the public folder instead of asking me to put it in my new spot. Is that why I don't have addons?
Edit

The other folders include. The wow installer I downloaded and the updates to the game.

If you did want to get fancy though, you could even track items that are pick pocketed and then sold I'd guess, giving an even better idea of how much is made. :)
