BarMath
Ever talk to your guild, and they ask how many bars until you level, and find yourself counting them? Well, those days are over, because BarMath does that for you!

A little text on the edges of your XP bar instantly tell you how many bars until you hit your next level!

You can show or hide any aspect of this mod by typing '/barmath' then what element you want to show or hide, followed by 'hide' or 'show'!

If you need help, just type '/barmath' and help will come!
  Change Log - BarMath
BarMath v2.0.5
- Fixed memory leak.

BarMath v2.0.4
- FINALLY Fixed most of the major Bar Problems!
- Updated for Patch 3.2!
- Added a commandline to make it simple to correct any problems when exiting a vehicule.
- You can now delete data for toons on other realms that have the same name as your current toon.
- Extended the OnEvent listing to support every argument, not just the first 5.
- Fixed a bug that would occur while working with vehicles.
- Fixed a bug that would occur when no title or text is sent to the BarMath_Tooltip_Generate function.
- Included Mods: BarMath XP v1.1, BarMath Rep v1.1, BarMath Money v1.0

BarMath v2.0.3
- Fixed the bug that wouldn't show the bars until you turned the parent bar on and off again.
- Fixed a bug that would call the wrong function while attempting to change the cut-off setting.
- Fixed several command-line bugs.

BarMath v2.0.2
- Extended the Parent Bar's "Grab Zone".
- Reduced the size of the SnapZone for the MainMenuBar.
- Fixed a bug that would cause a stack overflow if you moved the Parent Bar too far off screen.
- Fixed a database update bug.
- Fixed an error that would cause the castbar and petbar not to be in the proper places.
- Known Issue: When first logging on, the BarMath Bars will not appear until you update their data, or (a much faster method) turn the parent bar on and off.

BarMath v2.0.1
- Added an option to turn off "Snap To" zones. (More zones to be added soon!)
- Fixed a bug that would make the parent bar appear WAY off-screen the first time you load the addon, effectively hiding it from the screen.

BarMath v2.0
- Updated for Wrath of the Lich King!
- Rewrote most of the code to make it run better, smoother, faster.
- Made Major code changes, to allow for easy adding of additional bars.
- Seperated out the bars, and added them to their own floating Bar, which you can place anywhere.
- Added a "snap to" zone. So if you place the BarMath bars near where the original bars were at, it will "snap" into place.
- Added a Character List, in order to manage each character's data. Also allows you to delete the data of characters you've deleted.
- Major layout changes to the Options panel, to allow for the new options.
- Added functionality so other addons can add their own bars.
- Broke out XP, Rep and Money into their own Addons.

-= Included Addon Version History =-

XP Addon v1.0
- Updated to BarMath 2.0

Rep Addon v1.0
- Updated to BarMath 2.0
- AutoTracking feature installed! This will automatically change your rep when entering an instance, or going into specified zones. (No Lich King Support yet.)

Money Addon v1.0
- Updated to BarMath 2.0
- Switched to a Global Money Target. This will give you the same target across all your characters on that realm.
- Added Private Money Target. This will over-ride the Global if set, or if in Selfish Mode.
- Added an option to include money not found on your current account. This amount must be manually controlled.

Also there are two requests about plugins to tour addon.
1. BarMath is incompatible with the HonorBar, but useful and similar to this project.
2. PetXPBar is dead, but i wish a simple replacement with only bar.

If you can give me a link to the simple manual about creating addons and lua language and list of variables, i'll try to create it myself.

By the way, add the "apply" button to the settings
Wish I could accommodate you, but I ran out of money for WoW back around Xmas. I haven't been able to work on any of my addons... But if I had, you would have seen the following in version 2.1:
- Added a PetXP Bar for Hunters, wanting to get quick information about their pet's level.
- Added a Honor Bar, which will work like the Gold Bar, where you set a Honor Point goal, and it will track your progress.
- Added an Arena Bar. It's like the Honor Bar, but for the Arena.

The PetXP bar is almost completely coded and was ready for it's debut when my funding cut out. (Used it for leveling my Hunter's pets! ^_^)

The Honor & Arena bars are still works-in-progress, but they were part of the planned 2.1 release, along with lots of other changes. I was also working on solving the problem with the bars and the ActionBar.

Maybe when I get some money again, I can work on these and my other addons...

Tested on a USEnglish server/client, WoW 3.2.2.10505 live with the OptionHouse utility. Log on with the BarMath base mod & "BarMath addon - XP" active only ("Money & "Reputation" are disabled).

With either BarMath & OptionHouse loading alone or my standard full mod load, BarMath sucks down 55-70 KiB/second in memory continually. After a couple of minutes, its up to 5MB total memory used....and it keeps on going.

Yes, WoW garbage collection is there. But this memory leak is about the worst I've ever seen in years of mod testing. It should really not be happening to that degree.

This also uses a fair bit of CPU time continually: 1.1-1.3 CPU/second.

So again, nice idea, but needs big improvements to resource usage.
Hmm... Agreed. I'll try to find and lock down that leak.

It kinda does. The new one I'm working on is almost there. It works just fine, until you get into (or out of) a vehicle. Once I get that licked, I'll release the new version.

If I can at least get a work-around going, I might release it sooner...

It should auto-size to your global scale value.

But I could add an independent scale factor...

You have to turn on the Parent Bar from the Options window in order to move it. You may also want to disable the Snap-To zones...
