First and foremost, I have to give a huge thank you to loui for his inspiration and use of his original interface!
After realizing my position was moving more into Raiding then leveling and unusual dailies; my search for an interface began. However, I always had one problem. It's often uncommon for a user interface to truly be built for a large scale resolution beyond 1920. With much frustration, I came across LUI 1.0 and then 2.0. Each version upgrade brought amazing features and functionality to my gaming environment. And of course my monitor became the headache. So, after countless changes and modifications, I took LUI v2.0 and made it into what I felt fit me; something that truly worked at a 2560x1600 resolution on a 30 inch monitor.
What I did? I simply made it more appealing to me. 30 inches of real estate is a lot when you are raiding. Things need to be within an acceptable range of reach with a mouse. However, you want additional viewing space to see what’s going on. Is your buddy about to be jacked by several scarabs? Did the healer just get pawned by a kobold?
Galtar Edition is nothing more than a modification of loui’s hard work. The only thing I am responsible for is moving items around, changing the amount of things shown, and redesigning some of the artwork and panel creations. Beyond that, the strategic choice of standard addons was his doing. I have not this interface on anything below 2560x1900. I believe that the UI will work in any good size resolution, as long as it is 1650 and above. You may need to tweak some panels around in order for it to line back up. I more than likely won't be creating lower resolution profiles because the purpose of this entire edition was to facilitate those of us with 30 inch monitors.
How to install ?
1. Shutdown World of Warcraft.
2. Create a backup of your Interface and WTF folders. Delete them once you have finished.
3. Copy the Fonts, Interface, and WTF folders from the Galtar Edition zip file to your WoW directory.
4. Go into the WTF folder and rename YOURACCOUNT, YOURSERVER, YOURCHAR.
5. To keep saved keybindings and macros, drop the bindings-cache, bindings.cache.old, macros-cache,
and macros-cache.old from your backup character folder into your new character folder.
6. Start WoW
7. Activate the checkbox to load older addons at the character screen.
Configure Ingame
Once you load WoW and log into your character everything will be scattered throughout the middle of your screen. Do not fear.
Simply type /reflux switch LUI_Galtar (exactly how it's typed) and watch your UI reload.
Grid uses a 25 man setup for solo mode, otherwise you have a blank box. If you wish to disable that type /grid config, go to Layout and check Solo = None and all other layouts are 25 players.
Resize the chat frame if needed. DO NOT use kgPanels to move the chat frame! Simply type /prat and go to Tabs and place a checkmark on "General." When you high light the chat window you will see the chat tab appear, right click and select "Unlock Window." Now click and drag to move the entire chat system. Line it up with the panel to the right, right click "General" and select "Lock Window." You are done.
Type /rl to reload the UI.

Somethings been starting to act a bit wierd on it .. but ive been able to kinda figure it out and fix it. But with new patches coming up soon I dont want this interface to mess up!
Have adjusted mine to 1600x900 with no real problems (should've read the carriers of the kgpanels though. i fail i know :P had to do the chat and omen twice .) added a little border around the blizzard buttons on the top and created another bar for the aura bar ( Warlock no Dämo, nuffsaid ).
Originally posted by Neyana Great UI, but there is a small problem. Since I'm running a 22" inch screen with 1680x1050, the whole interface doesn't fit my screen at all. Possible to make it for 1680x1050?

Originally posted by AyameeBloodscalp I think theres an addon called "XPBar by Tyndral [Root@brokengod.net]" that provides an XP bar, u just have to go to the AddOns and look for it, its pretty nice looking aswell ^^
@ the Sidebars, when will they be updated? or if they are updated, can you tell me how I add them to my UI? 'Cause before I started to use this one I used LUI from loui, and had a side bar at each side. I'm a pala myself aswell and had some buffs on the sidebars and some other stuff that I barely needed / used only in specific fights that I could hide when I didnt need them, but rly missing out on these atm would be nice if I can add and configure the sidebars asap =)

Great work so far mate, just a quick question, will it be a support to 1920x1080 resolution? Already tried the actual version but most things are out of place. Looking forward to use it soon!

Neyana,
I'm working diligently to present that resolution for you. Is there a chance you can send me a screen shot; I'm curious to see what it's doing.
