DuelBlocker

DuelBlocker is a simple addon, which denies every duel request, if enabled. It also put people on your ignore list, if they requests a duel five times in a game session, if you enabled this.
It's configurable in the ingame interface control panel or directly with /duelblocker or /db
You can change the output text now.
Just type
/db msg hi %s, i don't want to duel you!
to change the output message for duel rejections
type
/db ignoremsg hi %s, i don't WANT TO DUEL YOU! But welcome on my ignore list ;-)
to change the message, when the requester will land on your ignore list.
In both terms, %s stands for the name of the requester.
Type
/db requests 42
to change the number of duel requests in one session by one player before he joins your ignore list to 42.

So I had to wait to get a new one. But now I'm back and I've added some basic method to change the output text. It'll be described in the addon description as soon as the new version is upped.

Honestly, that response is uncalled for, and I won't use it or recommend it until I have the option of cancelling *any* type of response or it is taken out. There is no place for that kind of response in a social game.

You can go into the localisation .lua file and change it to say what ever you want. That is what I did.

Honestly, that response is uncalled for, and I won't use it or recommend it until I have the option of cancelling any type of response or it is taken out. There is no place for that kind of response in a social game.

yes, i had not much time in the last weeks. i updated the addon this time only as a toc bump for 3.2. the possibility to change the text will be added soon (this month probably)

I might just be silly but how does one do it in the new version? All I configure is Enabled/Ignore/debug mode, nothing on how to change anything else.

Anotherpaul A Kobold Labourer Forum posts: 0 File comments: 21 Uploads: 0	While I agree it's rude to spam someone with a duel request 5x or more, telling them to "gtfo" after just one single duel request is a bit extreme. First message should be something like "No thanks", but if they persist then the 5th message can be gtfo and ignore, if that's what you really want.
